Manufacturers warranty

Each Anti-snap lock has a 12 month manufacturers warranty should it not work correctly through no fault of your own. It is important to note that the following scenarios are NOT covered by this warranty:

1. The door becoming misaligned and therefore causing the anti-snap lock to malfunction.
2. The key snaps in the anti-snap lock and causes it to malfunction.
3. Inserting regular WD40 or lubricant oil into the anti snap lock and it subsequently malfunctions.
4. The anti-snap lock is attacked and is disabled as a consequence - this usually means an unsuccessful burglary attempt which is what the lock is designed to defend against - it has done exactly what it is supposed to do and kept you safe!

Guide to servicing the Anti-snap lock

To maintain the smooth operation a well installed anti-snap lock just needs lubricating every 6 months.

How do burglars snap locks?

Lock snapping burglary is a prolific method of entry that has been used by criminals for over a decade.

It is believed that this method originated in the West Yorkshire area of the UK sometime in 2007 and quickly spread throughout the country.
